From the facility, direct or indirect connections can be considered with carriers, other data centers, and interconnection points. The delivery method, route, and availability are verified for each project.

MAD-NE brings together international carriers such as Cogent, Colt, and Vodafone. The facility also hosts fiber and capacity operators such as Lyntia, Adamo, Aire Networks, GTD, and Correos Telecom. Neo-telcos such as NearIP complete the map. From the Meet-Me Room there are also connection options to other data centers and to interconnection nodes such as ESpanix or DE-CIX.

MAD-NE makes it possible to choose among different networks, combine providers, and separate the hosting decision from the connectivity decision.

When a project requires physical diversity, routes, entries, and points of failure are studied circuit by circuit. This way, the architecture can be designed around real destinations, capacity, and continuity.

How a connectivity proposal is prepared

To evaluate a solution we need:

  1. locations, data centers, or services that must be connected;
  2. approximate capacity of each link;
  3. latency or coverage requirements;
  4. dependencies to be separated;
  5. desired level of continuity;
  6. preferred provider, if any;
  7. target date.

ipcore reviews the options reachable from MAD-NE and coordinates the agreed delivery method with the customer and the providers.

Can I contract carriers other than those shown?

Yes. The Meet-Me Room, dark fiber, DCI links, and connections to other data centers or interconnection points make it possible to consider additional networks.

How is each carrier delivered?

The form of presence or access depends on the provider and the service. ipcore confirms the appropriate delivery option for each project.

Can I use more than one provider?

Yes. The architecture can combine carriers according to services, destinations, and continuity criteria.

How is physical diversity designed?

Routes, entries, and points of failure are reviewed circuit by circuit to build the separation the project needs.

Can I change providers without moving servers?

It can be done once the new option is available and can be delivered at MAD-NE.

Can I connect to other data centers, ESpanix, or DE-CIX?

Yes, through specific links subject to availability, design, and contracting.

What is ipcore's role?

It puts the need in context within MAD-NE and coordinates the agreed delivery method. The provider, the customer, and ipcore keep the responsibilities defined for each circuit.
