ipcore · Independent Spanish company
ipcore, a Spanish colocation and connectivity company
The company that operates MAD-NE.
ipcore operates a 1,200 m² building in the city of Madrid dedicated to colocation, multi-carrier connectivity, and physical infrastructure operations.
MAD-NE is carrier-neutral, has two fiber entries, offers 24×7×365 access and remote hands, and does not use evaporative or adiabatic cooling.

Track record
More than 25 years in networks and infrastructure.
For years, the facility now known as MAD-NE hosted almost exclusively the infrastructure of Ran Networks, one of Spain's first Internet providers.
After the sale of Ran Networks in 2020, ipcore opened the facility to the market for companies, carriers, ISPs, MSPs, integrators, and technology providers.
Operational milestone
MAD-NE during the nationwide power outage of April 28, 2025
During the nationwide power outage of April 28, 2025, MAD-NE kept its services running on its backup infrastructure. ipcore activated alternative routes over dark fiber and helped sustain connectivity for third parties affected by the loss of external links.
