REMOTE HANDS · PHYSICAL ON-SITE SUPPORT · MADRID

Remote hands and 24×7 physical on-site support in Madrid

Remote hands make it possible to request physical work on equipment hosted at MAD-NE without sending your own staff to the facility, from anywhere in Spain.

The service is available 24×7×365. Each customer defines in writing the authorizations, priorities, operational channel, and applicable times.

How a 24×7 intervention works

02 / 08

Access and remote hands are available 24×7×365, but each intervention must identify:

  • authorized person or contact;
  • customer and affected equipment;
  • rack, position, or reference;
  • exact task;
  • expected result;
  • stop conditions;
  • urgency and window;
  • channel for confirming the result.

Requests are made through the operational channel agreed with each customer. The public form is for starting a commercial conversation, not for ordering an intervention on equipment already hosted.

Authorization and traceability

03 / 08

Before acting, ipcore must be able to verify that the request comes from an authorized person and that the scope is unambiguous.

When an instruction is ambiguous, could affect other equipment, or requires a logical decision that is not ipcore's to make, the intervention stops and clarification is requested.

The goal is to execute exactly the agreed work, not to improvise changes on an architecture administered by another organization.

Physical scope of the service

04 / 08

Remote hands cover physical work on hosted equipment: goods-in, installation, cabling, checks, reboots, replacements, and RMA.

Administration of systems, applications, or databases can be agreed separately when the project requires an additional scope.

For remote customers, MSPs, and carriers

05 / 08

The service is especially useful when:

  • the customer has no staff in Madrid;
  • an MSP manages equipment for third parties;
  • a carrier maintains a remote PoP;
  • hardware must be received or replaced;
  • an incident requires a physical check;
  • a migration or installation needs support inside MAD-NE.

Terms in writing

06 / 08

The proposal or the contract details:

  • included or billable tasks;
  • billing unit;
  • priorities;
  • operational channel;
  • applicable times;
  • authorizations;
  • escalation.

This way, each customer knows in advance how to request an intervention and what service level applies.

Frequently asked questions

07 / 08

What does 24×7×365 remote hands mean?

That physical work can be requested all year round through the agreed procedure. Times, priorities, and terms depend on the contract and the task.

Can ipcore receive hardware from a courier?

Yes, with prior coordination, sufficient references, and a clear instruction about the destination or the subsequent action.

Can you rack and cable equipment?

Yes. The scope, position, power, cabling, and expected result must be agreed beforehand.

Can you replace a disk or a card?

Yes, when the component, the equipment, the instruction, and the authorization are clearly identified.

What if I need systems or application administration?

An additional scope can be defined with the appropriate technology provider. ipcore's remote hands focus on physical work inside MAD-NE.

How does an existing customer request an intervention?

Through the operational channel and the authorized persons defined in their contract. The web form does not replace that procedure.
